What is robotic dental implant surgery, and is it better than freehand?
Robotic implant surgery uses a haptic guidance system — most commonly Yomi — that ties the drill to the patient's CBCT plan and physically constrains position, angle, and depth in real time. The surgeon still performs the surgery; the robot narrows deviation between the plan and the placement.
